The featured image used in this work is a bundle of wires tied at the ends and were flexed in different ways to make different configurations. This was done and photographed by Joe Duignan as part of a Columbia University architecture assignment. The collage is about the event connections that make a moment possible. One moment in time is the culmination of so many millions of variables that have happened and will happen in the future. To think you "get" what is happening right now is not only arrogant, it's preposterous.
