One thing that surprised me when I was hallucinating on acid as a teenager was all the mathmatic, geometric, artificial-like, man-made-like visions that would saturate my hallucinations. It was like architecture 3D pattern festival gone bizerk, set in motion by a Berlin sound track. I don't think I had any particuar expectations about LSD at the time but I wasn't expecting that.
